Recycling Cell Phones: If you have an old cell phone, why not donate it to Dublin's grade 7 and 8 Sunday School class?  A donation box will be available during the coffee hour on Sundays, or you can drop it off at the office.  Your cell phone will be recycled or refurbished instead of going to the landfill.  We can earn $1 for every donated phone.  This money will be given to Dunara House.  It’s like giving twice.

Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life - June 6, 2008

A note from Glenn Peirson (July 22, 1965 – November 10, 2009)

.....So, dear friends, here we are writing a note for the 2008 Relay for Life.  You may remember our families’ extraordinary involvement in last year’s inaugural Guelph Lake event:  TEAM CURE (a.k.a. us) contributed almost $23,000 of the $85,000 raised - and there were 35 teams involved!  I am still here, doing well, a little streamlined and short of hair, some perma-tan, and more actively teasing my kids than ever.  I am still here - body, soul, and mind … more or less intact, a few little problems, but some things actually functioning better than ever.  Last summer, I wasn't here.  I was so sick and decimated by the treatment that I was barely existing.  This is the plight for many cancer patients, but the reality is never appreciated until it hits you (and I pray it never does).
